Ugh. Science-fair-like settings are never as fun or as interesting as the projects that everyone is presenting. But, yay for sponsor checks! I vote for 1 or 2, since my iPod touch seriously made my life loads easier and I'm in a Verizon contract right now... therefore, I understand your pain. (Sorry Verizon.) :)
